Leopard Print Tips

This is my funky fresh take on classic french tips. The bright color contrast makes the animal print stand out. This design was hand painted with detail brushes.

Gold Flaked Tips

Sparkle can be added with dark or light colors and still will have that pop effect. I tried this dark maroon shimmer with gold flakes just a the ends.

Mermaid Tips

This look is funky flare to the classic french tips. I painted turquoise, blue and green sparkle polish just over the tips.

Make Your Own Nail Appliques

Paint your designs on a plastic zip lock bag and after it's dried you can peel off the designs and use them just like stickers! This is the coolest idea I've heard of and it's so easy. This eliminates the shaky strokes on the nails of dominant hand and that chunky thick layered look when you have too much polish on. This is also ideal for impatient artists because it dries completely on the plastic so you can go about your day without being able to use your hands during dry time.

 

How To:

With this marbling technique, I just painted random stripes horizontally then swirled a pin back and forth vertically through the stripes. Once it's fully dried and you peel off the design from the plastic bag, trim the sticker with scissors to fit the round part of the nail bed to fit in the cuticle areas. Press the sticker to your nail and it will adhere. Then file down the excess along the nail edge and put on top coat to set it.

Fade to Gold

 

Mint to Gold Ombre

This is my 1st attempt at two completely different color fade ombre. I used the sponge technique and as you can see some nails turned out better than others. The color combo of mint and gold really appealed to me and I will experiment some more in different designs next time.
